The Sun Doesn’t Help Either

Antarctica’s research stations solve this by each adopting the time zone of the country that supplies them, so the US-run McMurdo Station runs on New Zealand time, since that’s where its flights and cargo originate, while other stations run on their own supply country’s clock.
